This eclectic CD features six tracks of real jazz, with moods from groove, jazz waltz, blues, latin, and one track that is a rock tune.  Then the music slips into a wistful elegy for 9-11 (played on flutes & English horn) followed by a gospel ballad.  It has three vocal tracks (1, 5 & 9).  Track #6, "Dark Kat Revisited" was on WRTI-Philadelphia's Jazz Hot 11 (new releases -- a show based on listener responses) for an unprecendented three months -- they think it holds the record for the longest!  It went to #3 for two weeks in a row.  Cover art from the tryptych by Hieronymus Bosch called "The Haycart."
