Bob produces and writes music full time. A native of Edmond OK, he has travelled extensively.  While living in Los Angeles, Boston, & Oklahoma, Bob taught at the college level, performed with pops orchestras, gave guitar clinics, & led his own bands, as well as going on the road with numerous bands. He has three albums of his own & is on numerous jazz & country demo recordings. He recently won an award for recording in cyber-space with The Funkdawgs.  Bobby has played guitar with Stanley Clarke, Charlie Rouse, Bill Munroe, Petula Clark, Norm Crosby, Larry Gatlin, Les Brown, Phil Harris, Jerry Lewis, Jerry Reed, Chita Rivera, Rufus Thomas & Earl Day & "Majic."

1991-2006 -- Nashville, TN 

  • Numerous road tours in the early 90's
  • Active on the local scene with his own bands and freelancing.
  • Worked at Fullhouse Recorders in Whitehouse Tn. producing and writing full time
  • Has three CD's in print under his name and numerous recordings with other jazz artists and country demo work.

1986-91 -- Boston, MA

  • Played with the Longy School of Music's jazz band.
  • Worked with rockabilly artist Doug Forman (formerly of the band "The Fools") playing legitamate rockabilly guitar
  • Formed "Bobby Brewer Band," a hardcore blues trio that played Boston's South Shore and Back Bay, all around New York and New England.

1985-86 -- Oklahoma City

  • Returned to Oklahoma City briefly
  • Resumed teaching at UCO 
  • Played Oklahoma City Symphony "Pops."
  • Worked with Earl Day and "Majic," organ trio that helped reinstate jazz to a city with a rich jazz history -- it's the birthplace of Charlie Christian, Barney Kessel. "Majic" was host to a number of jazz happenings in the mid-80's in OKC.

1984 -- Los Angeles 

  • Played with trumpet session ace Jay Daversa, drummers Shelly Manne & John Guerin, and pianist Roger Kelloway.
  • Began studies with guitar wizard, the late Ted Greene.  Ted  is the author of "Chord Chemistry," known to guitarists round the world as thier "bible." Ted followed and studied at the knee of guitar giant Joe Pass during the 60's. Later Ted went on to teach and inspire guitarist such as Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Jay Graydon. many feel Ted helped create the style know as "california guitar" that graced Steely Dan's records during the 80's, and became the record industry mainstay during those years.
